About the role

  • Partnerships & Consortia Manager for AKMI International identifying and establishing collaborations for EU projects. Seeking a professional with strong networking skills and project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish collaborations with universities, research institutions, VET providers, industry partners, NGOs, and public bodies relevant to EU funding priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and update a strategic partner database aligned with AKMI International’s development priorities.
  • Identify suitable partners for upcoming EU calls and support the formation of strong, complementary, and competitive project consortia.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with potential partners and coordinate their engagement during proposal preparation.
  • Facilitate the collection of institutional profiles, expertise descriptions, and other partner-related information required during the consortium-building phase.
  • Represent AKMI International at networking events, brokerage events, conferences, and European project development forums.
  • Draft Applications and Technical Proposals indicatively under Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, European Studies, Cultural Management, Communication, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in European project development, international partnerships, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in partnership development, consortium building, or participation in EU-funded collaborative projects.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of an additional EU language will be considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple collaborations and maintain effective professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with EU funding programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, CERV, AMIF, and other international initiatives will be highly appreciated.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the EU.
