About the role

• Fullstack Developer specializing in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS with hybrid working in Contagem. Responsibilities include developing APIs and integrating frontend-backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express.js and TypeScript, preferably with NestJS.
• Build and evolve modern frontend interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js, ensuring a great user experience and efficient API integration.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, with experience in OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect; apply encryption and security best practices using bcrypt, Argon2, the Node.js crypto module and hashing algorithms (e.g., SHA).
• Integrate and model data with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure API documentation, validation and testing using tools such as Postman, Insomnia and frontend testing libraries.
• Work on frontend–backend integration, managing API contracts, versioning and compatibility.
• Actively participate in technical meetings, collaborating with the team on planning, development and implementation of fullstack solutions.
• Version source code, perform code reviews and collaborate within development workflows using Git.
• Use project boards for task management and tracking deliveries.
• Apply Artificial Intelligence tools in daily work to increase productivity, support development and improve processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fullstack development, with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Experience with Express, Fastify or Restify, applying best practices to build RESTful APIs.
• Frontend development experience with React, Angular or Vue.js, including consuming REST APIs and state management.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end (E2E) tests and smoke tests for both backend and frontend.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL Server, and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with security and cryptography, including JWT, bcrypt and the Node.js crypto module.
• Experience with Git, including workflows and practices such as Git Flow, SemVer, Semantic Release and Conventional Commits.
• Ability to propose and evolve fullstack architectures with consideration for scalability, security, maintainability and user experience.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Knowledge of API and frontend performance, including caching, rate limiting and concurrency control.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools such as Azure Boards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively using tools like Microsoft Teams.
