About the role

  • Executive Director leading UMAPP to expand member engagement and visibility in the promotional products industry. Overseeing operations and managing events while collaborating with the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day operations of the association.
  • Manage finances, budgets, and membership systems.
  • Support planning and execute UMAPP’s events.
  • Develop marketing and communication strategies to grow membership and visibility.
  • Maintain and continuously improve UMAPP’s website, newsletters, and email campaigns.
  • Represent UMAPP at industry events and with partner organizations.
  • Collaboratively work with the Board and committees in implementing strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in association management, nonprofit leadership, or event marketing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and digital marketing tools (Wild Apricot, Constant Contact, Canva).
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of the promotional products industry a plus.
