About the role

  • Product Manager overseeing product development and lifecycle management of sealing products in the energy sector. Driving innovation while ensuring alignment with market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, execution, and lifecycle management of a variety of sealing products.
  • Define product strategy, drive innovation, and ensure we meet customer needs across various industries.
  • Lead 80/20 efforts, focusing on simplifying product portfolio and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with Business Line Leader (BLL) around pricing and competitiveness across the Energy portfolio.
  • Analyze market needs and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements and ensure projects align with Energy product strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
  • Develop and manage product pricing strategies for Energy product lines, ensuring alignment with market conditions and internal profitability targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the energy or oil & gas sectors (experience in non-metallics, elastomers, sealing is highly desirable).
  • Proven success in 80/20 simplification, pricing strategy, and VOC-driven development.
  • Experience in strategic planning and contributing to long-term company growth strategies is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience leading new product development through milestone-driven processes.
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, market positioning, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Wrike, and JD Edwards (or similar ERP).
