About the role

  • Responsible for the governance, planning, execution and control of the company’s strategic projects, focusing on high-impact initiatives such as construction of new industrial plants, reengineering of existing plants and other organizational transformation projects.
  • Structure and lead the corporate PMO, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage the portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring schedules, costs, scope, quality and risks are controlled.
  • Act as a facilitator between technical, operational, financial and executive areas, promoting integration and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate Greenfield projects (new plants) and Brownfield projects (reengineering of existing plants).
  • Perform technical and economic feasibility analyses in partnership with engineering and finance teams.
  • Support senior leadership in decision-making through executive reports and performance dashboards.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree, MBA or specialization in Project Management preferred.
  • PMO specialization preferred.
  • Experience with Greenfield projects preferred.
  • Experience in the Chemical/Fertilizer industry preferred.
  • Experience with industrial decommissioning preferred.
  • Desired knowledge:
  • • Project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Stage-Gate)
  • • Planning and control tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP PS)
  • • Portfolio management and prioritization of strategic projects
  • • Economic and financial feasibility analysis (NPV, ROI, Payback)
  • • Risk management and compliance in industrial projects
  • • Process engineering and industrial construction knowledge
  • • Environmental and regulatory standards applicable to the fertilizer sector
  • • Change management and strategic communication
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, CAD, BIM.
  • Languages: Advanced English preferred.
