About the role

  • Conduct competitive analysis of utility programs across the industry, focusing on cost efficiency, performance, and participation metrics.
  • Determine what program types/designs are meeting and/or surpassing performance indicators ($/kWh, total/kWh, participant levels, goal achievement percentages, etc.).
  • Research industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to identify areas for improvement and innovation around program design, delivery, and performance metrics.
  • Work with teams to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations tools to communicate insights.

Requirements

  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours is required preferably energy or environment, business, economics, engineering or related subject.
  • Must be able to pass any required background check(s), which may include drug screening.
  • Knowledge of or interest in the utility and energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resource programs and markets.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Business Applications (such as Google, MS Office, Visualizations, Data Analytics, PowerBI).
  • Strong analytics skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
