About the role
- 2026 Summer Intern, Cloud Engineer supporting cloud infrastructure projects in AWS and Azure. Hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in cloud governance, security, and automation between June and August.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and governance of AWS and Azure organizations
- Support cloud infrastructure projects including VPC design, firewall configuration, and IAM policy management
- Collaborate with engineers to implement and maintain cloud security tools and automation pipelines
- Contribute to the deployment and management of cloud-native products and services
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and documentation efforts
Requirements
- A completed bachelor’s degree or at least 9 credit hours of completed graduate-level courses preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Must be able to pass any required background check(s), which may include drug screening
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) preferred
- AWS or Azure Associate Certification (or actively pursuing) preferred
- Basic understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security principles preferred
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
