Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Data Analyst in IT, this role strengthens ICEYE’s analytics and reporting across Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering.
  • The core purpose is to make data reliable, usable, and actionable—so leaders can move faster and with confidence.
  • This role exists to reduce guesswork and ad-hoc reporting by building scalable data models, clear metrics, and intuitive dashboards.
  • It also raises the overall standard of analytics through strong governance, documentation, and coaching, increasing trust and self-service across the organization.

Requirements

  • Analytics is trusted and actively used for decision-making across Finance, Ops, Product, and Engineering. Senior stakeholders rely on standardized dashboards and models instead of ad-hoc analysis.
  • Integrated, scalable data models significantly reduce manual and repetitive reporting. Priority dashboards are built on well-designed, governed data foundations rather than fragmented sources.
  • Time from business question to actionable insight is materially reduced. High-impact use cases move from request to decision faster and with fewer iterations.
  • Clear metric definitions and data standards are adopted across teams. There is alignment on core KPIs, improved data quality, and less debate over numbers.
  • Data literacy and self-service adoption measurably increase. Stakeholders can confidently explore, interpret, and apply analytics outputs without constant analyst intervention.
  • Advanced Data Modeling & Analytics Engineering Design and maintain scalable analytical data models aligned with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • SQL & Modern Data Platforms Expertise Deep proficiency in SQL and experience working with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
  • Python for Analytical Workflows Strong hands-on capability with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter) for data analysis, transformation, and exploratory analytics.
  • Business Intelligence & Insight Communication Build intuitive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Holistics, and translate complex analysis into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Base salary range for this position is 6500 - 7500 EUR per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
