About the role

  • Medical Selection Analyst ensuring quality in medical selection processes for collective insurance. Collaborating with team and clients across Canada to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure follow-up and receipt of medical requirements necessary for the review of enrollment applications
  • Scan and file medical reports and records in the appropriate systems
  • Validate medical invoices and ensure their compliance
  • Order required medical examinations to complete file analyses
  • Process insurability declarations and open files in the system
  • Respond to incoming calls from group policyholders across Canada, including questions related to eligibility
  • Report any anomalies or malfunctions in the medical selection process
  • Participate in continuous process improvement by proposing optimization opportunities
  • Perform any other related tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the medical selection process

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant customer service experience
  • Excellent learning ability and adaptability
  • Team player with rigor and strong analytical skills
  • Medical knowledge (major asset)
  • Advanced proficiency in English
