About the role
- Medical Selection Analyst ensuring quality in medical selection processes for collective insurance. Collaborating with team and clients across Canada to meet insurance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure follow-up and receipt of medical requirements necessary for the review of enrollment applications
- Scan and file medical reports and records in the appropriate systems
- Validate medical invoices and ensure their compliance
- Order required medical examinations to complete file analyses
- Process insurability declarations and open files in the system
- Respond to incoming calls from group policyholders across Canada, including questions related to eligibility
- Report any anomalies or malfunctions in the medical selection process
- Participate in continuous process improvement by proposing optimization opportunities
- Perform any other related tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the medical selection process
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant customer service experience
- Excellent learning ability and adaptability
- Team player with rigor and strong analytical skills
- Medical knowledge (major asset)
- Advanced proficiency in English
