About the role
- Equipment Finance Portfolio Manager overseeing commercial portfolio management and team strategy to meet banking goals. Ensuring compliance with credit policies while mentoring team members for performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all relationships and transactions are in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of credit quality consistent with bank’s credit policies
- Lead, motivate, and manage team members to higher levels of performance through coaching and mentoring
- Manage new underwriting workflow for effective and timely completion
- Manage portfolio monitoring activities for timely risk identification
- Effective management and implementation of special projects
- Recruit and develop new team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7+ years in commercial portfolio management
- Bachelor's Degree
- Underwriting and portfolio monitoring experience in a bank leasing environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to creatively develop solutions to overcome challenges
- Banking and Equipment Finance experience
- Ability to multitask and manage competing time-sensitive priorities.
