About the role

  • Equipment Finance Portfolio Manager overseeing commercial portfolio management and team strategy to meet banking goals. Ensuring compliance with credit policies while mentoring team members for performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all relationships and transactions are in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank
  • Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of credit quality consistent with bank’s credit policies
  • Lead, motivate, and manage team members to higher levels of performance through coaching and mentoring
  • Manage new underwriting workflow for effective and timely completion
  • Manage portfolio monitoring activities for timely risk identification
  • Effective management and implementation of special projects
  • Recruit and develop new team members as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in commercial portfolio management
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Underwriting and portfolio monitoring experience in a bank leasing environment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to creatively develop solutions to overcome challenges
  • Banking and Equipment Finance experience
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing time-sensitive priorities.
