Responsibilities
Responsible for the leadership of a team of 10 employees
Conceptual, organizational, personnel and financial responsibility for the Finance department
Continuing the change process / overseeing the digitization of the finance function
Supporting the implementation of an electronic document management system
Advising and supporting department management on strategic matters, financial planning and value creation
Designing processes and preparing cost calculations for grant-funded projects
Coordination and negotiation with financial service providers
Coordinating the internal preparation of the annual financial statements
Evaluating and modernizing organization-wide financial processes and policies
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration or a related field with a focus on cost accounting / controlling / financial management
At least 5 years of professional experience in financial management, consulting or controlling
Excellent skills in MS Excel / Excel Pivot and/or other controlling and planning software
Experience in digitalization processes and change management
Very good knowledge of and confident use of at least one common accounting software (ideally Sage100 or DATEV)
Solid knowledge of commercial and tax law; knowledge of grant/subsidy law is an advantage
