About the role

  • Actuarial Analyst responsible for pricing assumptions, bids, and premium rate filings. Collaborating with Product Development and sales to align with profitability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting pricing assumptions, submitting bids, and filing premium rates
  • Supports implementation of rates, new plans and benefit changes
  • Provides guidance to Product Development on cost impacts
  • Develops and maintains pricing tools
  • Establishes market level financial metrics
  • Analyzes market level results and projections
  • Develops recommended pricing actions
  • Collaborates with sales and partners for membership growth
  • Accountable for actuarial certifications of rate filings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Successful completion of at least 1 actuarial exam
  • Strong communication skills
  • 3 years of SQL experience
  • Experience with Data Bricks
