About the role

  • Corporate lawyer at Hub6 supporting SMEs through legal transactions and compliance. Focus on corporate and contractual law in a dynamic legal department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality and compliance of corporate documentation in reorganizations and standard business transactions (incorporations, changes in share ownership, tax rollovers, shareholders’ agreements, corporate housekeeping);
  • Independently handle the execution of corporate reorganizations under the supervision of a senior lawyer, as needed;
  • Draft and review legal documentation related to corporate reorganizations and standard business transactions (share or asset purchases/sales, letters of intent, transfer agreements, etc.);
  • Draft, analyze, and review a variety of commercial contracts (shareholders’ agreements, service agreements, client contracts, software licenses, terms of use, loan agreements, etc.).

Requirements

  • Expertise in business law: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate and contract law with a solid understanding of SME business issues;
  • Excellent drafting skills: Prepare and review legal documents with rigor, clarity, and precision;
  • Autonomy and initiative: Take ownership of matters and move files forward independently while demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgment;
  • Organization and priority management: Plan and manage multiple files and priorities effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality;
  • Professional bilingual communication: Comfortable communicating in both French and English, orally and in writing, adapting the level and style of communication to clients’ needs and realities.
