About the role
- Vice President Operations overseeing operations at a fast-growing digital health company. Leading cross-functional teams and ensuring efficient processes across pharmacy and medical operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational backbone of Healthtech Ventures, ensuring that every prescription, shipment, and patient interaction runs smoothly and efficiently
- Lead and scale operations across pharmacy operations, medical operations, and pharmaceutical wholesale, supported by four direct reports
- Build, optimize, and scale operational processes to ensure consistent, reliable, and fast patient fulfillment
- Monitor daily delivery KPIs and take rapid countermeasures when deviations occur
- Manage and expand HTV’s partner pharmacy network
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely prescription processing and fulfillment
- Collaborate with partner pharmacies to optimize logistics, inventory, and service quality
- Oversee HTV’s telemedicine and clinic operations
- Support the rollout of the HTV Clinics concept, ensuring seamless end-to-end processes from consultation to prescription
- Lead operations of HTV’s pharmaceutical wholesaler, which manages a growing portfolio of proprietary prescription drugs
- Collaborate with leadership to expand the product portfolio and establish new supplier and pharmacy relationships
- Work closely with Platform Owners to translate strategic goals into operational execution
- Partner with Finance & Accounting to ensure near real-time accuracy of operational and financial data
Requirements
- 7–8 years of experience in eCommerce, telemedicine, digital health, logistics, or related industries
- Proven experience leading cross-functional operations and scaling processes in fast-moving environments
- Hands-on mindset: you thrive in execution, stay close to daily operations, and take ownership when challenges arise
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and analytically strong with a focus on measurable results
- Fluent in German and English
- Based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, with the option to work hybrid
