About the role
- AI Architect designing and coding AI solutions using advanced AI/ML for an Ireland-based software engineering company. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of AI-powered web applications and integration with software products.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI-powered web applications.
- Build modern React front ends, Node and Python services, and production-grade agents.
- Ship to Kubernetes with strong reliability and security.
- Design and implement React apps with TypeScript and modern state management.
- Build Node services and Python microservices for AI and data workflows.
- Architect, orchestrate, and evaluate agentic AI systems including tool use, planning, and multi-step reasoning.
- Champion code quality: reviews, tests, linting, performance profiling, documentation.
Requirements
- 4+ years professional software engineering with shipped products.
- React, TypeScript, Vite or Next.js.
- Node.js, Express/Fastify; Python for AI and backend tasks.
- Hands-on with agentic AI frameworks and patterns: function/tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, planners, evaluators, guards, memory, agents that call external APIs.
- LLM ops: vector stores, embeddings, prompt/version management, offline evals, tracing.
- Kubernetes in production: Helm or Kustomize, Horizontal Pod Autoscaler, Ingress, service mesh basics, logging and metrics with Prometheus/Grafana or Open Telemetry.
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI; Docker best practices.
- Security hygiene: secrets management, RBAC, network policies, OWASP ASVS awareness.
