About the role

  • Program Assistant supporting health programs initiatives at The Carter Center. Provides administrative and logistical support for projects and programs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and logistical support for projects, initiatives, and programs.
  • Works with and maintains data management and filing for projects/program.
  • Assists assigned managers and team members by maintaining calendars, receiving and assisting with drafting correspondence, replying to general inquiries, and support other administrative functions, as needed.
  • Handles planning and preparations of travel arrangements, including scheduling, logistics planning, and other requirements for meetings and events, special projects, and domestic and international travel.
  • Prepares and processes financial documents including contracts, expense reports, invoices, etc.
  • Drafts and manages contracts for consultants and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with various personal computer software applications.
