About the role

  • Integrated Financial Planning Analyst at Emory University responsible for financial planning and reporting. Collaborating with stakeholders and preparing forecasts and financial analyses to support decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and reports on the consolidated budget for senior management
  • Assists in planning the integrated financial plan and annual financial reports
  • Interacts with budget officers throughout the University and senior level staff in the Finance Division
  • Conducts financial analysis and modeling of University operating results
  • Prepares financial reports and presentations for senior management
  • Collaborates with various department budget managers and stakeholders to conduct budget meetings
  • Prepares quarterly forecasts for the University wide campus
  • Performs ad-hoc complex financial analyses include the development of new project and operating proformas
  • Provides advice and direction to campus budget officers concerning university-wide budget procedures

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • Three years of financial, data analysis, and subject matter knowledge OR six years of financial, data analysis and subject matter knowledge with a complex organization
  • A related master's degree or financial professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred
  • Effective communication skills.
