  • Associate Academic Research Scientist performing complex research duties in Radiation Oncology at Emory University. Leading scientific projects and ensuring research quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of highly technical and complex research duties.
  • Investigate and recommend potential alternative approaches to improve research quality.
  • Demonstrate increased responsibility through management of teams and leadership of scientific projects.
  • Aid in writing IACUC, IRB, Biosafety and other approval documents.
  • Oversee quality assurance of research conducted by team members.
  • Assist in grant and funding applications.
  • Serve as the principal investigator on funded proposals with approval.

Requirements

  • PhD and one year of professional level experience in a technical or research lab OR master's degree and three years of professional level experience in a technical or research lab OR bachelor's degree and five years of professional level experience in a technical or research lab.
  • Laboratory experience should be based on area of assignment.
