About the role
- Supports purchasing team in assortment development and supplier communication. Responsible for onboarding new suppliers and managing product data within inventory system.
Responsibilities
- You support our buyers in assortment planning and all purchasing-related tasks for the respective product category.
- You are responsible for direct communication with our suppliers.
- You guide new suppliers through the onboarding process, including contract preparation.
- You support your team during supplier meetings and, where applicable, at industry-relevant trade fairs.
- You are responsible for preparing and maintaining product master data and our merchandise management system.

Requirements
- You have completed commercial training (e.g., apprenticeship) or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferably, you have already gained experience in purchasing, retail, or sales—ideally in the furniture sector.
- You have a good sense for trends and a strong passion for stylish home living.
- You have solid PC skills and are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- You work independently, efficiently, and conscientiously.
- You have business-fluent German and good (min. B1) English skills.
