About the role

  • Accountant responsible for structured bookkeeping processes at HOLZRICHTER Berlin. Managing invoicing, compliance, and financial organization with hybrid working model in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-coding (preliminary posting) of incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Review invoices for formal requirements (in particular VAT regulations under the German VAT Act — UStG)
  • Maintain open items (OPOS), cash accounts and travel expense records
  • Prepare and provide complete documentation for our tax advisor
  • End-to-end responsibility for our accounting processes: optimization, documentation and ensuring compliance and quality
  • Manage outstanding receivables (dunning and preparation for collections)
  • Close coordination with our tax advisor

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in preparatory accounting or financial administration
  • Strong digital proficiency
  • Structured, independent working style
  • Enjoy taking ownership and being accountable for results
  • Availability of 8–10 hours per week and the ability to work hybrid from our Berlin office
