Responsibilities
Pre-coding (preliminary posting) of incoming and outgoing invoices
Review invoices for formal requirements (in particular VAT regulations under the German VAT Act — UStG)
Maintain open items (OPOS), cash accounts and travel expense records
Prepare and provide complete documentation for our tax advisor
End-to-end responsibility for our accounting processes: optimization, documentation and ensuring compliance and quality
Manage outstanding receivables (dunning and preparation for collections)
Close coordination with our tax advisor
Requirements
Extensive professional experience in preparatory accounting or financial administration
Strong digital proficiency
Structured, independent working style
Enjoy taking ownership and being accountable for results
Availability of 8–10 hours per week and the ability to work hybrid from our Berlin office
