NMDP is a nonprofit organization (formerly Be The Match) that operates the national blood stem cell donor registry and coordinates cell therapy to treat blood cancers and other blood disorders. It recruits and registers donors, matches donors to patients, facilitates transplants, provides patient support and financial assistance, conducts and funds clinical research and trials, and leads advocacy and fundraising to expand access to life‑saving cell therapies.

• Provides a wide range of legal services and supporting the advice and counsel work of NMDP’s Office of General Counsel function.
• Participates in the creation, development, and implementation of NMDP policies and procedures relating to legal and regulatory obligations.
• Provides day-to-day legal advice and support to various functions throughout the company.
• Assists in the anticipation and identification of legal issues of concern to NMDP and assists in the development of legal strategies and solutions.

• Manages intake of requests for Legal & Compliance Department support.
• Manages Legal & Compliance Department files and intranet site.
• Assists in the review and drafting of contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Coordinates cross-functionally to support Legal & Compliance Department initiatives.
• Provides administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, correspondence, and reporting.
• Organizes and maintains governance documentation and corporate filings for multiple legal entities.
• Assists with entity formation, annual reports, and other corporate maintenance tasks.

• This role oversees a team of enterprise architects, providing strategic guidance and solution leadership across all major technology initiatives.
• This leader partners closely with business leaders, product management, and IT teams to define and guide the future-state architecture, modernize core platforms, and solution design across the enterprise.
• Acting as a key strategic thought leader and influencer, the Director communicates complex architectural concepts in clear business terms.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and drive adoption of architecture standards throughout the organization.

Director of Enterprise Architecture leading NMDP’s technology strategy and aligning investments with goals. Overseeing enterprise architects to ensure a coherent, future-ready technology landscape.

• Monitors the engineering department’s tools and procedures and promotes their evolution alongside the business systems.
• Participates in the full lifecycle of the DevOps tool chain, including selection, implementation, maintenance, and offboarding of tools.
• Ensures the continuous availability, performance, and security of the DevOps platform and associated tools to support 24/7 enterprise operations.
• Responsible for building automation frameworks for deployment, management, and monitoring of applications’ build, release, and configuration activities in constant collaboration with development teams.
• Adapts quickly to changing requirements, progresses and evolves goals and strategies, and implements emerging technologies as required.
• Delivers automated, innovative solutions to cross functional teams to enable them to deliver faster business capabilities to stakeholders.
