About the role
- Purchaser responsible for material procurement and E-Procurement optimization at Funkwerk Systems in Germany. Involves supplier management, contract negotiation, and process enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for procuring designated product groups (materials & services)
- Conducting, evaluating and further developing tenders and RFPs
- Selection, development and evaluation of suppliers
- Negotiation and conclusion of framework, supply and project-related contracts
- Close coordination with internal stakeholders and the Head of Procurement
- Active participation in and continuous optimization of procurement processes
- Maintenance and further development of the existing e-procurement system
- Introduction, implementation and support of new digital tools within procurement
- Identification of automation and AI opportunities in procurement
- Acting as an interface between procurement, IT and business units on system and process matters
Requirements
- Completed commercial/business training or a degree, ideally with a digital, IT or process-oriented focus
- Several years of professional experience in procurement (operational and/or process-related)
- Strong interest in digitalization, e-procurement, new tools and technologies
- Very good knowledge of SAP and advanced MS Office skills
- Analytical and structured working style with a high degree of initiative
- Business-fluent German and English skills
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
