About the role
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable applications.
- Taking responsibility for agile development, release, and deployment processes (e.g., Git workflow).
- Independently developing custom plugins.
- Programming interfaces (API integrations).
- Supporting and advancing your colleagues in Backend Development.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6).
- Solid experience with well-known frameworks and technologies such as Symfony, Laravel, Doctrine ORM, Node.js, Vue.js, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.
- Proficient with PHPStorm, debugging, and unit testing.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
- Ideally experienced with agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce systems such as Shopware, OXID eSales, Ibexa, or comparable platforms is helpful.
- A drive to learn new technologies and continuously develop professionally.
- A passion for clean, semantically correct source code.
