About the role

  • Consultants - Delay Analysts analyzing and supporting project schedules in UAE's construction disputes market. Contributing to complex megaprojects and collaborating with senior experts in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing baseline programmes, schedules, progress data, and records to identify delay, disruption, and critical path movement.
  • Undertaking training in recognised delay methodologies (e.g., Windows, TIA, collapsed as‑built) and applying these under expert supervision.
  • Preparing technical sections for expert reports in arbitration or adjudication.
  • Reviewing project documentation across infrastructure, mixed‑use, real estate, energy, and other major regional sectors.
  • Supporting senior delay experts on high‑value, high‑visibility engagements.
  • Drafting summaries, notes, and communications to support analysis outputs and project delivery.
  • Participating in client meetings and contributing to discussions on delay issues.
  • Building your network by attending regional industry, client, and thought‑leadership events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in planning, project controls, or delay-related roles within a reputable contractor or consultancy.
  • Hands‑on experience developing, updating, or analysing project schedules/programmes across large or complex construction projects (UAE/GCC experience advantageous).
  • Solid understanding of major forms of contract and awareness of how they relate to time, delay, notices, and extension of time processes.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with confidence using software such as Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ideally with experience preparing planning narratives, delay summaries, or reporting for stakeholders.
  • Ability to relay complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Beneficial (but not essential): exposure to delay analysis, forensic planning, claims narrative development, or dispute processes.
