Responsibilities
- The Site Commissioning Manager is the on-site authority responsible for the day-to-day execution, coordination, and control of all Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning activities on a long-term project site.
- This role has full operational responsibility on site, including management of zones, Zone Leaders, internal field teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project scope, schedule, quality, and customer requirements.
- The Site Commissioning Manager acts as the primary on-site interface between the project team, the customer, the FAT & SAT Manager, and all site stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in substation commissioning, SAT, installation and complex site execution.
- Proven experience in long-term site leadership roles with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong background in: Protection & Control
- SCADA / MicroSCADA
- IEC 61850-based systems
- Civil works and installation oversight (E-Houses, DC systems, foundations)
- Demonstrated authority in HSE leadership and site control.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work full-time, long-term on site for the duration of the project.
