Responsibilities
Be part of the team to drive the High Voltage Products business through sales and tendering.
Implementation of the local product marketing strategy, by visiting potential clients to present the offering, agreeing on client requirements, product value propositions, and product positioning, and tendering of a defined scope.
Involved in the market analyses with the Sales team, responsible for forecasts and detailed business/marketing plans for allocated areas of the portfolio.
Achieving business targets through regular review of sales and tendering activities and implementation of improvement/focus plans as needed.
Undertaking tendering activities to support the business, ensuring involvement of the overall team to provide a cost-effective offering to meet client expectations, and being able to present added value to the client.
Understanding of Customer Service principles and their effect on the business.
Requirements
A Degree in Engineering or similar.
Experience in Sales and/or tendering in the Power Engineering industry, preferably with a focus on high voltage equipment.
Experience in tendering for GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) will be highly appreciated.
Passion for sales in a technical setting, with knowledge and experience of sales and marketing tools such as Salesforce/digital marketing tools – LinkedIn Sales Navigator / similar, is necessary.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills.
Engineer in high voltage switchgear contributing to energy transition and supply security. Working in Dresden and Berlin with international teams on substation technology.
