About the role
- Senior Consultant in IT Service Sourcing role at a growing consulting firm specializing in IT management and security consulting. Focused on developing IT strategies and guiding client transformations.
Responsibilities
- Advise and take on (partial) project leadership for client projects to develop IT and sourcing strategies, including deriving recommendations for appropriate sourcing options
- Develop quality management models and measurement methods to assess service performance
- Ensure smooth execution from market exploration, through the preparation of tender documents and contract negotiations, to award—both for public procurements and private tenders
- Support subsequent transition and transformation activities and ensure a seamless handover to operations
- Identify clients' organizational challenges and work with them to develop tailored solutions for building the retained organization and managing their service providers
Requirements
- At least three years of project and/or consulting experience in the relevant subject areas
- Good understanding of frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe, COBIT or SIAM
- Strong analytical skills to structure complexity, clarify interdependencies, and the ability to design solutions/concepts and explain them
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German
- Knowledge of creative methods, Kanban, Scrum and design thinking
