About the role
- Senior Consultant IT Forensik investigating cyber incidents and supporting organizations in crisis. Collaborating on forensic analyses, incident response, and system recovery in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond as part of a team to attacks on our clients’ IT infrastructures and contribute to forensic investigation, containment, emergency operations, and restoration
- Provide technical expertise for incident handling – remotely and on-site at client locations
- Investigate forensic questions, perform technical analyses to determine the attack vector, and give clients a clear overview of the incident
- Secure and analyze digital evidence that is admissible in court using current tools
- Specialize in areas such as operating system forensics, network and cloud forensics, malware analysis, and technical recovery planning, among others
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of IT environments, IT security, and attack kill chains
- Passion for technology and for analyzing complex systems and situations
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., (Business) Computer Science, Security, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience; certifications in IT forensics or pentesting/auditing are a plus
- Determination to help affected organizations recover from cyber crises and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Very good presentation and communication skills in German
