About the role

  • Manage and respond as part of a team to attacks on our clients' IT infrastructure, participating in forensic investigation, isolation, emergency operations, and recovery.
  • Provide technical expertise in incident handling — remotely and on-site at client locations.
  • Pursue forensic inquiries, perform technical analyses to clarify the attack vector, and give clients a clear overview.
  • Collect and analyze digital evidence admissible in court using current tools.
  • Specialize in areas such as operating system, network, and cloud forensics, malware analysis, technical recovery planning, and more.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of IT landscapes, IT security, and attack chains (kill chain).
  • Enjoy working with technology and analyzing complex systems and situations.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Security, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience; certifications in IT forensics or penetration testing/auditing are a plus.
  • Determination to help affected organizations through cyber crises and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in German.
