About the role
- Senior Consultant in Information Security and IT Security at a consulting firm. Leading project teams and implementing customized Information Security Management strategies across various clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams and support the implementation of tailored Information Security Management strategies and solutions for a variety of clients — remotely and on-site
- Guide our clients from conducting protection-need assessments through structural analyses to the establishment of complete Information Security Management Systems
- Design organizational and technical security solutions for complex projects and support their rollout
- Contribute ideas and proposals on interface topics (e.g., data protection/privacy, operational organization, service management) and further develop our consulting services
Requirements
- Degree in business or IT (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering) or comparable professional qualification — motivation is what counts
- Practical experience applying information security standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI standard 200‑X (IT-Grundschutz), and several years of professional experience (e.g., as a Lead Auditor, IT-Grundschutz consultant, or similar)
- Proven experience in project leadership and enjoyment in knowledge transfer
- Drive to work on complex subject areas, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and very good German language skills
