About the role

• Consultant in Network Security handling IT Security measures and incident responses for clients. Engaging in proactive and reactive security actions while ensuring client environment safety.

Responsibilities

• Secure our clients' IT environments against unauthorized access and complex attacks — both remotely and on-site
• Combine proactive work (design, hardening, practical security assessments) with reactive tasks in incident response
• Keep both the overall architecture of systems and networks and the technical configuration details in view to protect the client environment
• Work actively on current topics such as cloud security and critical infrastructure (KRITIS) and help shape new projects
• Support projects from requirements analysis and planning through execution, including presenting results

Requirements

• Professional experience in an IT environment (e.g., administration, development, networking, or IT coordination) and a curiosity to test current tools, technologies, and unconventional approaches
• Broad technical knowledge across different topics (e.g., how networks work, operating system fundamentals, cloud, Active Directory, databases, web technologies)
• Enthusiasm for IT security and initial project experience (e.g., developing security concepts, hardening systems or network components, working as DevSecOps, or in security administration)
• Experience preparing and presenting technically complex topics clearly in reports and presentations in German
