About the role

  • Senior Key Account Sales Manager responsible for developing key accounts in IT sectors. Work hybrid in Germany with a dynamic tech company specializing in custom software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic management and expansion of existing key accounts – from needs assessment to project implementation
  • Development and execution of account plans to ensure long-term customer retention, growth, and profitability
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers at management and C-level
  • Identification of cross- and upselling opportunities within existing customer structures
  • Close collaboration with internal delivery, consulting, and solution teams
  • Continuous market and customer analysis to identify trends and new business opportunities early
  • Representing HiQ at industry events, conferences, and specialist gatherings

Requirements

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 10 years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, preferably in an IT or software environment
  • Proven track record in acquiring and developing large accounts
  • Deep understanding of industry-specific requirements in Defence, Manufacturing, or Finance
  • Existing network within one of these target industries
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a strong customer focus
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and a confident presence at all hierarchical levels
  • Business-fluent German and English (minimum C1)
