About the role

  • Clinical Data Manager responsible for enhancing clinical data workflows at Hilo by Aktiia. Ensuring accurate data processing and execution of clinical studies with a focus on quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • You own and continuously improve the clinical data workflows that power Hilo’s clinical studies.
  • You ensure that data is captured, processed, and maintained accurately across systems - from EDC setup and data cleaning to study monitoring and reporting.
  • You connect clinical sites, internal teams, and data systems, making sure data flows reliably and supports high-quality study outcomes.
  • You’ll be hands-on, building and maintaining EDC structures, processing and validating data, and troubleshooting issues directly with clinical sites.
  • You’ll also act as the bridge between clinical operations and technical data work to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Your key output is reliable, high-quality clinical data and well-run data processes that enable accurate analysis and successful study execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Early-career profile with initial experience in Clinical Data Management or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with EDC systems and a solid understanding of clinical data management principles
  • Strong proficiency in Excel for data processing (Programming skills in Python is an asset)
  • Good understanding of data structures and basic IT concepts (e.g. programming, data stores, data transfer, cloud environments, AI)
  • Fluency in English and French (minimum C1 level required for interaction with clinical sites)
  • Strong attention to detail and structured way of working
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a dynamic, evolving environment
