About the role
- Senior Accounting Manager overseeing financial accounting for the HIH group. Engaging in diverse tasks including independent bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage ongoing financial accounting activities
- Record routine business transactions, provisions, and accruals
- Review, code, and post supplier invoices
- Execute payment transactions and monitor liquidity
- Maintain and manage fixed assets
- Prepare and produce monthly and annual financial statements
- Support Controlling in budget preparation and variance analyses
- Prepare VAT pre‑filings
- Contribute to the development of accounting processes and internal standards
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and assist with any required management reports
- Act as the primary contact for auditors during the annual audit process
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accounting professional)
- Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate sector or within a corporate group
- Proficient in SAP FI (experience with S/4HANA advantageous)
- Good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Reliable, meticulous, and structured way of working
- Team player with an independent and responsible work style
