About the role
- Director of Nursing responsible for health care services at Hickory Recovery Network. Overseeing quality client care and nursing department operations in accordance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel who provide health care & nursing services to clients within Hickory Recovery Network.
- Responsible for maintaining operations of the Nursing Service Department to ensure quality client care in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, facility policies & procedures, and client directives.
- TB testing for clients and employees.
- Scheduling COVID testing, vaccinations, and maintaining Covid documentation for clients and staff.
- Maintaining medical supplies and stock medications monthly via approved vendors.
- Leading infection control and antibiotic tracking and monitoring, administration of flu vaccines to staff and clients.
- Flexibility of schedule to allow coverage of open nursing shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for professional nurses and licensed in good standing in the state where work will be performed.
- Valid RN license
- At least 2 years prior experience as an RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
- At least one year of supervision experience in the nursing field.
- Certified BLS provider.
- Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check.
- Satisfactory personal & professional references.
