Responsibilities
- Serve as REIN director-economic analysis with the Nashville office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
- Lead and collaborate on the REIN team’s efforts to collect and synthesize District-wide qualitative economic data
- Engage with senior executives at the Atlanta Fed to inform monetary policymaking
- Work with the Nashville REIN team to promote the Atlanta Fed’s public outreach initiatives
- Lead strategic and special projects within REIN
- Contribute to the direction of the Research division and broader Atlanta Fed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred (in economics or related field such as business, finance, or public policy) or equivalent experience in economics.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to eight years of work experience.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics and business principles
- Deep experience with economic analysis, particularly qualitative analysis
- Preference for experience with generative AI, data visualizations and/or other technology tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic project management skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency
