Responsibilities
Serve as REIN director-economic analysis with the Nashville office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Lead and collaborate on the REIN team’s efforts to collect and synthesize District-wide qualitative economic data
Engage with senior executives at the Atlanta Fed to inform monetary policymaking
Work with the Nashville REIN team to promote the Atlanta Fed’s public outreach initiatives
Lead strategic and special projects within REIN
Contribute to the direction of the Research division and broader Atlanta Fed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred (in economics or related field such as business, finance, or public policy) or equivalent experience in economics.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to eight years of work experience.
Strong understanding of macroeconomics and business principles
Deep experience with economic analysis, particularly qualitative analysis
Preference for experience with generative AI, data visualizations and/or other technology tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong strategic project management skills
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency
