About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer managing Kubernetes and AI-driven workflows at Hex Trust. Supporting blockchain infrastructure while implementing best DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Kubernetes cluster, cloud, and on-prem infrastructure
- Manage on-prem infrastructure: server, fortigate, cisco switches, etc.
- Increase and manage system observability by optimizing the monitoring system, service mesh, and tracing
- Design and implement AI driven workflows, pipelines and solutions.
- Resolve problem with AI first mindset
- Incorporate DevOps best practices on both the cultural and technological sides
- Embrace and embed GitOps model for application management and deployment
- Design solutions with scalability, security, and stability at its core
- Manage and enhance the CI/CD pipeline to support various deployment models
- Manage and set up blockchain infrastructure to support new chains and business growth
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem: secret & cert management, network engine, security engine, ingress, csi, etc.
- Experience in automating tasks with AI and scripts
- Experience in AWS, and on-premise infrastructure management
- Experience in hardware management: fortigate, switches, bare metal, data center network
- Knowledge of Docker and multi-stage/multi-architecture builds, registries, and best image practices
- Experience in one of the monitoring systems (Prometheus stack, Influx stack, Datadog, New Relic etc.),
- Experience with GitOps development workflow (Argocd, etc.) and infrastructure as code approach (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible)
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines
- You love the console and are not afraid to read man pages
- 5+ years of experience and deep knowledge of - Linux/Unix Server System Administration, Network Administration, infrastructure management and maintenance experience
- Understanding and capabilities to manage, monitor, and optimize network traffic: TCP and UDP; comfortable diagnosing problems on the wire
- Experience and fundamental knowledge of blockchain is a big plus
