About the role

Responsibilities
- Administrate, monitor, and optimize relational and/or non-relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index adjustments
- Ensure data security, integrity, and confidentiality
- Define, execute, and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery policies
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data environments
- Support the development team with data modeling, standardization, and best access practices
- Conduct capacity analysis, growth planning, and database health monitoring
- Implement automation and continuous improvements in data management processes
- Respond to and resolve database-related incidents with a focus on speed and prevention
- Contribute to solution architecture involving integrations, data pipelines, and new technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DBA
- Strong proficiency in administering relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.) is a plus
- Solid experience in tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of replication, partitioning, and high availability strategies
- Familiarity with data security practices and LGPD (Brazilian data protection law)
- Experience with automation scripting
- Experience with cloud environments
- Ability to work collaboratively with product, development, and infrastructure teams
