Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communications strategies supporting the school’s mission
  • Act as a communications liaison for committees
  • Apply systems thinking to marketing and communications
  • Develop and execute communications for Advancement and Admissions
  • Serve as managing editor of Head-Royce magazine
  • Coordinate and distribute primary digital publications
  • Project-manage print and digital publications
  • Provide ongoing support for content creation
  • Lead editorial planning meetings
  • Identify opportunities to share events at HRS
  • Monitor and co-manage communications email inbox

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years in a marketing or communications role
  • Bachelor's degree required—specialty in Journalism, PR, English, marketing, or communications preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with actionable plans
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • Sensitivity to equity and inclusion
  • Comfort and knowledge of social media channels
  • Familiarity with CMS systems, website back ends, and marketing platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other platforms a plus.
