About the role

  • Graphic Designer creating engaging assets across digital and print mediums for Headlight. Bridging the gap between UX/UI, traditional graphics, and final production with a focus on mental health support.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging assets across digital, print, and social channels that communicate our resources with empathy and clarity. You will lean into an aesthetic that favors simple, graphic art to make complex information easy to digest.
  • Work confidently within our established design systems and style guides to ensure visual consistency and build trust across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that make navigating mental health care as seamless as possible. Deliver clean wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and organized UI assets.
  • Handle the technical execution of design. Prepare and pre-flight files for print production, and optimize digital assets for various platforms to ensure smooth hand-offs to developers or vendors.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and clinical teams to deliver practical design solutions that meet project goals, technical constraints, and the needs of our community.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency or in-house environment.
  • Strong conceptual skills; ability to ideate across print, web and video projects.

  • A portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of typography, scale, color theory, layout, and grid systems.
  • Real-world experience with file prep, print production, and digital asset management.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous eye for alignment, consistency, and accuracy.
  • A candidate able to work a hybrid schedule in Salt Lake City is a plus.
