  • Leave Administrator at Harlem Children’s Zone managing benefits and leave administration. Collaborating with HR and ensuring compliance with regulations for a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee benefits programs including administration of all benefits and retirement programs
  • Manage leave of absence and accommodation management
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all benefits related questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with HR, managers, and leadership to ensure ADA/NYSHRL compliance
  • Develop and update employee benefits materials and communications
  • Monitor updates to federal, state, and local benefits regulations
  • Handle complex accommodation cases and develop best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in human resource benefits and leave administration with a mid to large-sized org.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems or similar software.
