About the role

  • Senior Payroll Officer managing end-to-end payroll processes and compliance. Work at HCF, Australia's largest not-for-profit health fund, ensuring timely delivery of payroll services.

Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end payroll, compliance, reporting and stakeholder support
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services
  • Includes payroll processing, statutory obligations, reporting, reconciliations and responding to payroll enquiries
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure employee data is accurate
  • Resolve payroll issues efficiently
  • Play a key part in continuous improvement initiatives and support payroll system administration

Requirements

  • Experienced payroll professional with a strong technical background and a high attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience using Preceda
  • Ability to manage end-to-end payroll, interpreting awards and EBAs
  • Apply Australian payroll legislation
  • Customer-focused approach, sound judgement, and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality, tact and professionalism
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to prioritise effectively in a deadline-driven environment
