About the role

  • Structural CAD/BIM Designer developing Revit models and contract documents for water treatment facilities. Collaborating with senior engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Under direction of senior staff, develop structural Revit models, families, and contract documents.
  • Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
  • Coordinate structural Revit models and contract drawings with other disciplines (process mechanical, electrical, architectural, HVAC, etc.) to avoid interferences including use of clash detention software.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of AutoCAD 2D or Autodesk Revit experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of structural steel and concrete systems would be advantageous
  • Experience with infrastructure associated with wastewater, water and reclaimed water treatment plants, water storage facilities, pipelines, stormwater systems, pump stations and distributions/collection systems.
