About the role
- Structural CAD/BIM Designer at Hazen and Sawyer working collaboratively on design documents and 3D models for water and wastewater facilities. Focus on using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop Revit models, families, and contract documents under the direction of senior staff.
- Learn and follow project CAD-BIM standards, discipline guidelines and instructions from engineers and/or other design staff to produce contract drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in an education program with focus in Engineering design, drafting, or related field preferred.
- Basic proficiency of Autodesk Revit
- Basic proficiency of AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be advantageous
- Basic understanding of structural steel and concrete systems would be advantageous
