Responsibilities
Responsible for monitoring the completion and perform reviews of periodic/annual accounts.
Provide oversight and support of the accounting, audit, tax, legal and SPV/Fund service providers.
Drive compliance processes by coordinating and supporting the preparation of CIT and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Tackle complex challenges by resolving local accounting, reporting, and operational issues with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Take ownership of operational excellence, contributing to key initiatives and managing ad-hoc projects that keep our Luxembourg entities running smoothly.
Develop and maintain strong relationship with third-party service providers and regulators.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance (ACCA or similar accounting qualification are an asset).
At least 5 years professional work experience (preferably in Luxembourg) is highly desirable. Experience in Big 4 (audit or accounting services), accounting service providers, or alternative investment companies.
Expertise in IFRS / Lux GAAP.
Proficiency in navigating the Luxembourg regulatory environment as it pertains to the alternative assets sector, including AIFMD.
Experience in Fund Administration, including NAV calculation, Transfer Agent and investor servicing.
Familiarity with a variety of alternative asset strategies including LBO, real estate and credit, as well as associated fund structures including limited partnerships (Luxembourg and others), LLCs, SCSPs and similar.
Experience with US GAAP and consolidation is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of Luxembourg tax and reporting.
Fluent in English (both verbal and written). Other European languages are beneficial.
