About the role

  • QA Engineer responsible for testing and ensuring quality in the Beacon platform at Hanson Wade Group. Collaborating with Agile teams to enhance release quality and usability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and execute manual test cases for web-based applications.
  • Validate new features, bug fixes, and releases across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure test coverage and acceptance criteria are met.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
  • Log and manage defects through tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of the Agile team.
  • Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.
  • Ensure product releases meet user expectations for performance, usability, and stability.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manual QA or software testing role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies , test case design, and defect management.
  • Experience testing web-based or SaaS products .
  • Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or TestRail for test and defect tracking.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with cross-functional Agile teams.
