- Ensure availability: food / non-food — depending on focus
- Identify cost-saving potential: tenders (structured, data-driven, transparent), price-performance and contract negotiations, preparation of decision papers for department management and the COO, always documented clearly and traceably
- Supplier management: selection, development, annual reviews, terms and conditions, performance evaluation
- Process and transparency culture: establish and further develop simple, logical and solution-oriented procurement processes
- Interface work: coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., within the department with product and quality management, and cross-functionally with marketing, franchise partner support and the training department)
- Risk management and market analyses: availability, alternatives, price and market developments
- Reporting: KPIs, status updates and decisions — prepared clearly and understandably
Requirements
- Commercial training and/or a degree in business administration
- Several years of purchasing/procurement experience, ideally in the food, gastronomy, retail or FMCG environment
- Strong skills in structure, communication and transparency: you explain decisions briefly and clearly, document reliably and work according to processes
- Confident negotiator with a good sense for partnerships — fair, clear and goal-oriented
- Analytical thinking, numerical literacy and enjoyment of standardized procedures (with the ability to respond flexibly and calmly to urgent requests)
- Very good German and good English skills (meetings, emails, negotiations)
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
