About the role

Responsibilities
- Write and maintain high-quality SQL queries to analyze product usage, funnels, retention, and business performance.
- Build, own, and iterate on dashboards that track core product, growth, and operational metrics.
- Support product and growth experiments by defining hypotheses, success metrics, and post-experiment analysis.
- Translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear, actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with Data Engineering to validate data sources, improve data quality, and ensure metric consistency.
- Document metrics, dashboards, and analytical assumptions to build long-term trust and shared understanding.
- Present insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, focusing on impact and decision-making.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles.
- Strong **SQL expertise** with experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas.
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools like Looker, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear questions, metrics, and analyses.
- Solid product and business intuition, understands how user behavior connects to outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain insights clearly and concisely.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving data models.
