Program Coordinator responsible for managing Sustainable Mobility initiatives and coordinating related programs for the City of Hamilton. Engaging with stakeholders and facilitating educational events.
Responsibilities
Report to the Project Manager – Sustainable Mobility Planning
Deliver, maintain and monitor all programs related to Sustainable Mobility
Implement strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of programs
Undertake research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and sustainable mobility analysis
Coordinate activities and programs related to the Active and Sustainable School Travel Program
Support the delivery of Sustainable Mobility events, education programs, and training
Prepare and submit grant applications and manage consultants as required
Ensure balanced service/cost/quality compliance with guidelines
Requirements
Proven demonstrated knowledge of sustainable mobility and transportation planning
Considerable experience working in the Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Demand Management field
Knowledge of engineering, planning and project management theories
Highly effective leadership, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary staff in a results-oriented environment
Working knowledge of MS Office, Access, Project, and graphic design programs
Ability to deal effectively with representatives of government and the general public
Possession of a Class G Driver’s license is beneficial, but not required.
