Responsibilities
Manage the Fare Revenue program and the general administration of the Division
Keep the Section current on existing and emerging acts, regulations and legislation
Lead, research, survey, consult, author and present recommendation reports
Manage all aspects of staff performance and change
Manage fare and cash administration activities
Implement smartcard technologies advances
Manage bus driving related training activities
Administer contracts including University/College Bus Pass contracts and PRESTO Operating Agreement
Lead development of detailed analysis of data and processes
Prepare reports and presentations to various stakeholders
Liaise and consult with peers and levels of government
Develop tenders, evaluate submissions and oversee consultant work
Facilitate public meetings and planning sessions
Design education material and programs for the community
Requirements
Considerable municipal government experience directly related to public service delivery preferred
Extensive business analysis, project management experience
Extensive financial analysis, budget development and forecasting experience
An effective communicator, both orally and written
Highly effective leadership, facilitation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Ability to learn and work with custom software applications
